winter wonderland

We rarely get snow days in Memphis.

But when we do, let me tell you,

It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.

I can always tell when it’s coming.

The sky lights up with this bright color of midnight blue.

When you wake up the next day you’re filled with excitement.

It’s a day that brings me peaceful moments

Happily playing in the snow.

Endless games of snowball fighting.

Creating snowmen galore!

Bake some cookies while watching holiday movies.

It’s also a perfect day to relax.

To wind down and enjoy warm foods.

Become entangled in a cozy blanket.

Get lost in a book or fall into a blissful slumber.

It’s peaceful. It’s serene.

It’s definitely a sight to see.
